Simplifying Medication Plans for Improved Overall Health
Just Better Medicine is a Pharmacy Care Advocacy company that uses a team approach to improve medication adherence and improve patients’ overall health. No more driving to Pharmacies and waiting in line. No more worrying over medication orders or pickups. No more stress.
Our focus is you, the patient, and improving your quality of life.
Complete Medication Review, Delivery & Oversight
A Clinical Pharmacist begins by reviewing medications you are prescribed, how you take them, and how you order and receive them. We will then safely consolidate your medications at a Nebraska Enhanced Service Provider Network Pharmacy. Your new medication plan will then be delivered to your door automatically in pre-packaged Adherence Packaging.
Personalized Health Screenings & Wellness Planning
We'll then give you a screening for vaccinations to keep you strong and healthy. After the screening, a personalized medication plan will be presented to both you and your Primary Care Provider (MD, NP, PA). We work closely with you and your family to develop a care plan specific to your wellness needs.
Ongoing 1-on-1 Health & Wellness Planning
After a medication plan is in place and your screenings are complete, a Clinical Pharmacist will accompany you on your next Primary Care Provider visit. We collaborate with your Primary Care Provider to fully integrate the next steps in your wellness. This personal care can continue as needed to improve medication adherence.
Who We Serve
Seniors on Multiple Medications
Almost 1/3 of all seniors over the age of 70 in Nebraska are on 5 or more chronic prescription medications. This high volume of prescriptions makes it very difficult to refill, pickup, and follow a medication schedule. Just Better Medicine is here to help make your medication regimen easy and safe.
Patients Needing Help Reducing Hospital Admissions
It's proven that patients using a Clinical Pharmacy Care Plan - similar to Just Better Medicine - are 45% less likely to be admitted to the hospital for ongoing care, and 20% more adherent to their prescription program. This according to a 2010 performance analysis of North Carolina primary care practices.
